The Citroën Car Club, 2CVGB, the Traction Owners Club, the Citroën Specials Club, in association with Citroën UK and Coventry MotoFest, presented the:
CITROËN CENTENARY EVENT
Celebrating a Century of Citroën
Coombe Park, Warwickshire CV3 2AB
31 May - 2 June 2019
The Event has now passed but its legacy needs to be preserved.
This website will become a record of it - in both words and pictures.
Please be patient while we put together this record and publish it here.
What we did:
It is 100 years since André Citroën produced the first car bearing his name. Few manufacturers have had such an impact on the world of motoring as Citroën, and few anniversaries are more significant.
Worldwide celebrations are taking place to commemorate the Centenary, and we created a British event to stand with the best of them.
There were two full days of events on-site, featuring everything you would expect of a major rally. The programme and facilities included entertainment during two evenings, a range of catering and a bar, trade stands and an autojumble, together with full camping facilities – from Thursday until Monday morning.
On the Sunday everyone was invited to take part in a mass drive into Coventry, with hundreds of Citroëns on the move!
